The invention concerns a support for the axis of a winding tube, comprising; a fixed part with a surface and a grooved portion capable of receiving said axis; a movable piece coupled on said surface, being able to move between a first position, wherein the grooved portion of the fixed part and a grooved portion of the movable part form a tubular cavity, and a second position, defining an opening to access the portion grooved of the fixed piece; characterized in that the moving part comprises a loading end adapted to receive said shaft while being pushed against the moving part, moving it to the second position, and positioned on said opening when the moving part is in said second position; and in that the support comprises elastic means associated to the moving part and to the fixed part, configured to maintain the moving part in said first position.
